Our Services
General Services
Immunization and Wellness Care | We strive to prevent illness whenever possible. The time and effort invested in wellness programs has rewards for both pets and owners. Our wellness programs are designed specifically for your pet and include a comprehensive physical exam, fecal, heartworm testing and preventative, appropriate vaccines, flea and tick control, and other specialized tests that fit your pet's needs. Many of these tests can be performed while you wait using our in house laboratory. |
Nutritional Counseling | All pets benefit from a well balanced diet. However, some pets have special nutritional requirements. Our trained staff can help tailor a diet for your pet's specific needs in all stages of life. Weight loss can be a struggle for your pet. Feel free to come and visit our scale and ask us about our weight loss program. | View |
Microchipping | Microchips have helped reunite thousands of pets with their families. We offer the most widely used microchip products to increase the chances of a safe recovery. |
Dental Care | Regular professional cleaning is important to maintaining your pet's teeth. We use digital radiography to fully assess the mouth and use an ultrasonic scaler to clean each tooth thoroughly. Dentals also include full mouth polish, fluoride treatment, and sealants. Please ask us about our dental technician assessments so that we can customize an appropriate plan for your pet. |
Radiology | Radiology – or X-rays – enable veterinarians to get a 2 D view of multiple organ systems including muscular-skeleton, cardiovascular(cardiopulmonary), gastrointestinal, and reproductive / urinary systems. We have a state of the art digital radiography system that allows us to get quick analysis and also enables us to download information to a board certified radiologist. | View |
General Medicine | We cover all areas of internal medicine, including: Cardiology; Ophthalmology; Neurology; Dermatology; Gastroenterology; Orthopedic surgery; Oncology; Endocrinology; among others. |
Emergency and Critical Care | In any emergency, seconds count. Our experienced staff is trained in the ABCs of basic life support – Airway, Breathing, Circulation/Cardiac compressions. Emergency care is offered during regular business hours. In addition, we use the services of local, fully staffed emergency centers. |
Surgery | We offer advanced surgical techniques. We minimize surgical risk by performing pre-surgical blood screening and physical exams. This allows us to tailor a specific anesthetic plan for your pet. Our surgical services and facilities include fully trained veterinary and technical staff, ECG, blood pressure, and oxygen saturation montiors, as well as intensive post operative care. |
Laser | Lasers are a minimally invasive alternative to traditional surgery. Lasers replace scalpels in many procedures, and are useful for a wide range of conditions, such as cyst, tumor, and wart removal, and can even be used in declawing. Laser procedures result in less pain; less bleeding and less swelling. They reduce risk of infection and result in less post-operative discomfort. |
Pain Management | Veterinary patients feel pain and discomfort under the same circumstances as people do. We know that recognizing and alleviating pain in animals is the essence of good patient care. We are committed to using the most effective and current methods of pain relief available. Pain management will be provided before, during, and after surgery; for chronically and terminally ill patients; and for general day to day needs (arthritis, injuries, dental pain, etc.). |
Pharmacy | We stock a wide range of the best veterinary drugs in the animal healthcare field. Due to our concerns with the authenticity of online pharmacy products, we try to be competitive with internet pricing. Please feel free to ask us for a written prescription for any medications. |
Behavioral Medicine | Illness doesn't always have a physical cause. There are such disorders as separation anxiety, obsessive behavior, aggression, and inappropriate elimination. We routinely screen for these disorders and, if needed, will make appropriate referrals to a veterinary behaviorist or trainer. |
Hospice / Euthanasia Services | Saying goodbye to a long-time friend is difficult. We work with our clients to ensure their pet's comfort and dignity. Services include taking care of the remains as directed by the client. |
